Tone-wise, boss wanted Tony Robbins, client wanted Harvard Business Review. Copywriter (me) threaded the needle. Boss insisted on maximizing word count due to misapprehensions about SEO best practices. Copywriter delivered 1000+ words for each page. Client loved it.

Several months after final delivery, client, under new management, edited site text to the point where copywriter no longer felt comfortable using the live site as a sample. Below is the original text from the “Execuitve Search” page at launch.
